The Eaton G3 Universal PDU (UPDU), features a universal connector, a G3 management card and is hot swappable for updating as new network cards come to the market. It is a single solution equipped to meet the most diverse data center rack power requirements.
With its universal input, dynamic C39 outlets and global approvals, the G3 UPDU accommodates single and 3-phase power in 120V and 230V environments, as well as equipment with a variety of connectors. The G3 has a low profile width and depth, saving room in racks and installation is easy. The circuit breakers and outlets are evenly distributed across the PDU. The high retention plugs hold cords tight to the PDU. These PDU can be daisy chained with up to 8 in the chain within one network. The network card and pixel LCD screen provide a clear view of the status of the PDU when at the rack and also allows for fully remote management.
The high operating temp, up to 140°F, provides hot aisle reliability. Optional environmental probes can be used for monitoring temperature. By deploying the G3 UPDU, you can save time, reduce costs, and simplify power management for single data centers or global projects across multiple locations.
